For many of us, the holidays mean traveling to loved ones all over the country. AT&T’s Jason Strong joined us on Wisconsin Tonight with some app ideas.

Road Tripper pulls up points of interest providing detailed information.

Organize travel plans in one place

TripIt keeps all your travel information in one place and allows you to send to friends and family. Put in names, dates, flight, rental car and hotel information.

Book flights and hotels

Hipmunk helps find the best flight at the lowest cost, and also searches for weekend deals. Hopper lets you see how much tickets are for certain time periods and keeps a watch on prices.

Fight road trip boredom:

DIRECTV app allows you to watch live and recorded shows on the go. Great especially for traveling over the holidays when waiting to get on a flight, or while in the car on long road trips.

Santa Tracker App. Viewers of the AT&T* satellite TV service can track Santa’s progress in real time as he makes his merry way to homes across the world. The app is also available to AT&T U-verse TV customers. November 22 – Jan. 3
