Gideon Hicks, with Summit Planning Group joined us on Wisconsin Tonight to discuss starting an emergency fund for your family.
Hicks said even if you are currently renting an apartment/duplex etc. it is always a good idea to establish an emergency fund. Unexpected things come up like auto repairs, a last minute flight to a funeral, even job hunting expenses.
For the homeowner he said, the list is likely twice as long with things like being prepared if appliances break down, heating or air conditioning replacement etc.
