Milwaukee teens had better make sure they get home Monday night.

Mayor Tom Barrett announced Monday that there will be a strict enforcement of the 10 p.m. curfew for all teens in the city.

The curfew is in response to two nights of violence in the Sherman Park neighborhood.

"This is not the place where you go to gawk,  it is not the place where you go to take pictures, it is not the place to drive your car around," Barrett said.

"Those individuals in my mind are deliberately trying to damage a great neighborhood and a great city."

Milwaukee County Sheriff also announced Tuesday morning that Sherman Park, located at 3000 N. Sherman Blvd., will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. effective immediately and until further notice.

Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn said there were 14 arrests Sunday night. Eleven adult males and three adult females were charged with disorderly conduct.

Three squads cars damaged, along with reports of bricks being thrown through windows.

A car was set on fire, along with numerous dumpster fires and a couch fire, Flynn  said.

An 18-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound, but the injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

Flynn said seven officers were injured, mainly from bricks and rocks thrown by protesters.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee faced a second night of unrest after police shot and killed a man who they said fled a traffic stop and was armed with a handgun.

There was no widespread destruction Sunday night as there had been a day earlier. Protesters threw rocks at police.

Milwaukee officials say there were shots fired near Sherman and Burleigh and they were able to rescue a shooting victim in the 3000 block of N. Sherman using an armored vehicle. The 18-year-old man was rushed to the hospital and is being treated for serious injuries.

Milwaukee police say they used an armored vehicle to retrieve an injured shooting victim at a protest and took the person to a hospital.

Police announced the action on Twitter but gave no other details.

It followed more unrest in the Wisconsin city after a black man was fatally shot Saturday by a police officer, sparking riots on Saturday night.

Protesters were throwing objects and police in riot gear moved in to disperse the crowd.
