A Sheboygan County mother accused of murdering her two-year-old son in 2016 has changed her plea.
Katlyn Kinateder changed her plea for a first degree intentional homicide charge to no contest on Thursday. She was charged for the death of her son Dexter in Sheboygan Falls in August 2016.
Kinateder previously pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.
Investigators found her son's body in a cardboard box inside her Sheboygan Falls apartment. She allegedly told police that voices in her head told her he couldn't live anymore, court documents said.
A trial is scheduled for December 12.
