A Green Bay company is proud to have the honor of making the official inaugural medallion.
Those who attend the Inaugural Ball on Friday in Washington, D.C. will receive a bronze medal created at Medalcraft Mint. The front features a portrait of Donald Trump which was selected by the President-Elect himself. The reverse side has the presidential seal with the date of the inauguration.
Medalcraft Mint's owner says the final design was approved by Trump's team not too long ago, so employees have been working long hours and weekends to finish the order in time.
"With the people making it, they take a lot of pride in it, and they're just happy that we're being a part of history," said Jerry Moran.
Medalcraft Mint also made the inaugural medallions for Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
