As the healing process begins for the family, police work is ongoing.
"The focus of this investigation is where these animals came from and how they got out of the house. " Says Captain Kevin Warych with the Green Bay Police Department..
"Once we determine who is responsible then they will face charges of animal running at large which is against city ordinance" Warych continues.
When we spoke to the dogs owner Monday she said she wasn't at home when it happened.
"Somebody when I was gone today went in my basement and let the dogs out and i got a call that my dogs were loose" Says Tina Jones the owner of the dogs.
But police plan to figure it out
Also looking into records to show whether or not the dogs had caused issues before, something neighbors say had happened.
