GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Public Works Department will be temporarily closing two bridges in the area for annual cleaning.
The Walnut Street Bridge will close Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., while the Mason Street Bridge will close Thursday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drivers will need to detour on East Walnut at Washington Street.
Traffic will be detoured across the Fox River over the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge.
Mason Street traffic will be detoured across the Fox River over the Walnut Street Bridge via Ashland Avenue, Walnut Street and Monroe Avenue.
