A second car has been shot in Manitowoc. Around 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, a 17-year-old man reported his vehicle had been shot. Officers went to his residence in the 1500 block of S. 12th Street, where they found his car shot 5 times.
Four rounds struck the rear of the vehicle and one round ricocheted off the roof of the vehicle.
It is believed this incident happened the same night as an incident reported earlier in the week in the 1200 block of S. 24th Street. The second victim is acquainted with the victim of the first incident.
"It appears these two are connected and these two individuals have some type of issue with another person or persons over something that we're still trying to determine," explained Captain Larry Zimney with the Manitowoc Police Department.
Nobody was injured in either incident. Both cases remain under investigation.
