Sunnyside Elementary School kindergarten teacher Jane School will be honored at an April 2 award ceremony in Madison as the Wisconsin Association of Colleges for Teacher Education Pre-Service Educator Award winner.
School has taught in the Pulaski School District for 17 years, "Our students walk in the morning and know they know that they are going to have a great interaction with Jane," said Sunny Side Principal, Marc Klawiter.
Mrs. School inspiring more than just the youngest of learners. "Her want for me to be a teacher and be successful is all I could have asked for," said Kelly Schumacher who student taught in Mr. School's classroom at Sunnyside Elementary School.
School says she's honored to receive the award, "I keep in contact with many of the teachers and they still ask me advice. We learn from them as much as they learn from us," said School.
