TOWN ON ELLINGTON, Wis. — A husband and wife from Shiocton were injured Thursday in a motorcycle crash in Outagamie County.
The Sheriff's Office said just before 4:00pm, the couple was traveling southbound on a motorcycle on Kettner Road in the Town of Ellington, when a car traveling northbound turned in front of them. The driver of the car was trying to turn into a driveway.
Investigators said the couple on the motorcycle were not wearing helmets. The female passenger was airlifted to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Her husband, who was driving the motorcycle, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the four-door Nissan was a 33-year-old woman from Shiocton. No word on if she was hurt.
Authorities are continuing to investigate to determine the exact cause of the crash.
