(WGBA) -- Green Bay Packer Jordy Nelson has been named the Associated Press NFL Comeback Player of the Year for the 2016 season.
This comes after bouncing back from season ending knee surgery in 2015 to lead the NFL this season with 14 touchdown receptions.
Jordy led Green Bay receivers with 97 catches for 1,257 yards.
He's the first Packer to win the award, and only the second wide receiver.
Nelson was presented the award at the NFL Honors ceremony. He was joined by his wife Emily, and fellow Packers receiver Randall Cobb.
