GREEN BAY, WI---- Green Bay ity leaders discussing plans for development east of Lambeau Field. The city is in preliminary stages to add to the development on the east side, and businesses are supportive.
“More business and the more the better," says Sally Bunker at Leatherhead Brewing Co.
Economic Development Director Kevin Vonck says in the next yea if not sooner, the city will put together a strategic plan.
“Being an entertainment district, hotels, restaurants definitely fit the bill there. I think one of things we're really curious about is housing or residential options," says Vonck.
Businesses say this could solidify the Stadium District as a whole.
“Customers having options. If they want to come by Stadium View for a little bit then go back to their hotel," says Amanda Watson at Stadium View.
The city plans to hire consultant to help them put together the strategic plan.
