GREEN BAY - The Green Bay City Council will meet Tuesday, June 21st.

Multiple items are on the agenda for discussion, including an Olympic sized pool at the Tundra Lodge Resort and Conference Center.

Tundra Lodge owner John Bays originally proposed the pool back in September of 2015. Bays then rescinded his offer to partner with Green Bay on building the pool on May 19th, 2016. Bays stated opposition to the pool from Alderman Chris Wery was the key reason to backing out last month.

The Green Bay Redevelopment Authority has agreed to reconsider a development agreement for the pool.

Another item on the agenda is to crackdown on speeding.

The council will consider modifying traffic lanes on South Point Road and West Point Road. The changes would include narrowing lanes on South Point Road from Hazelwood Lane to West Point Road. Bike and Parking lanes will also be added.

The goal is that by making those lanes smaller, motorists will obey speed limits.

The City Council meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at Green Bay City Hall in City Hall room 203
