A local boy, who's living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, received a life changing donation Monday in Green Bay.
9-year-old Hayden Harris received a handicap accessible van which will greatly enhance his quality of life. Thanks in part to the Jett Foundation, Harris and his family raised the money to buy the van.
"They did a wonderful and a fantastic and rapid job of it, so they have clearly a real strong community here who supports them," said Suzanne Scroggins with the Jett Foundation.
The organization raises awareness of the disease and helps raise money for research to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
