The Oshkosh Police Department has found a missing 73-year-old man with dementia thanks to the Project Lifesaver program.
Project Lifesaver is a radio frequency locating program for people who have diagnoses that involve a risk of wandering, the department said.
Specially trained electronic search specialists responded to the area where the person was last seen and deployed radio frequency receivers.
The man was found uninjured less than 30 minutes later, police said.
