The Appleton Fire Department was dispatched to 3208 East Canary Street for the report of fire on the roof of an apartment building. Officials say a wood burning fire place led to a chimney fire in the attic.
Officials did extinguish the fire and the majority of the damage to the attic area.
Three people were displaced. No injuries were reported. Red Cross is assisting with shelter.
