...SCATTERED SLIPPERY SPOTS EXPECTED FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE...
Scattered icy spots will be found on secondary roads, bridges,
overpasses and sidewalks this morning. Morning commuters should be
alert for ice and locally hazardous driving conditions.
Pedestrians should also use caution, as icy spots may also be
found on sidewalks and in parking lots.
Falling temperatures and gusty west winds will also push wind
chills to 10 below to 20 below zero across much of the area this
morning. Frostbite can begin in as little as 30 minutes with wind
chills this cold, so those with outdoor plans should dress
accordingly.
