Wisconsin Herd to host local player tryout

OSHKOSH, Wis. - Think you have what it takes to play for the Wisconsin Herd? You have a chance to find out.

The Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will hold a local player tryout in September.

The tryout will be at the Oshkosh 20th Avenue YMCA (3303 W. 20th Ave) on Saturday, September 23. It will start at noon and will not be open to spectators.

Basketball operations personnel for the Herd and the Bucks will evaluate the players trying out. They will be competing for an invitation to the Herd's inaugural training camp in late October.

Participation is limited to the first 55 people who submit the registration form with the $150 registration fee. All registration fees are non-refundable.

A limited number of walk-up players will be accepted on the tryout day with a credit card payment of $150.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m.
