The Packers have released cornerback LaDarius Gunter, the team announced Tuesday.
Gunter was thrust into the starting cornerback role last season due to injuries. He played in 25 games with 15 starts in the regular season for the Packers, as well as four postseason games with three starts.
Green Bay signed Gunter in 2015 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Miami.
The team also released DT Ricky Jean Francois Tuesday activated wide receiver Geronimo Allison from exempt status.
