MARINETTE, Wis. — Rescuers are searching for a man after a boat capsized on the Menominee River Monday morning.
Authorities say Marinette County Dispatch/9-1-1 got a call around 10:23 a.m. of a capsized boat and person in the water. Emergency crews spotted one man in the water near the Interstate Bridge/Hwy 41. They managed to pull the man from the river and took him to the hospital.
The man told authorities that another man had been in the boat with him. Crews were able to find the boat, but the man is still missing.
Multiple agencies are currently on scene conducting a search.
