One woman is dead after a motorcycle crashed into the back of a car in Calumet County.
The crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. Monday on State Highway 55 at Artesian Road in the Town of Stockbridge.
Deputies said the motorcycle crashed into the back of a stopped car that was waiting to turn.
The driver of the motorcycle, a Fond du Lac man in his 50s, was transported via helicopter to the hospital with serious injuries.
The passenger, a 53-year-old woman from Fond du Lac, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, an 81-year-old woman from Chilton, was not injured in the crash.
Neither of the motorcycle riders was wearing helmets.
