Township of Spruce, WI -- Three people are displaced after an early morning fire in Oconto County.
Fire crews were called in around 2 a.m. to a house on Valley Line road in the Township of Spruce, near Oconto.
When crews arrived, smoke was coming from the roof area. Fire officials say the fire was under control just before 4 a.m.
Fire officials say the house is not a total loss but there is extensive damage to the attack, kitchen and hallway.
Several area fire departments were called in to assist. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The 3 people displaced are getting assistance from the American Red Cross.
