GREEN BAY, Wis. - Sunday a group of four students began marching from Green Bay all the way to Veterans Park in Milwaukee.
The six day, 140 mile ruck march is raising money for the Wisconsin non-profit '4th HOOAH' - Helping Out Our American Heroes.
Students say they hope to raise $20,000 and also awareness for the 20 veterans that commit suicide every day.
"4th HOOAH partners with local charities," student Jake Swenson said. "They help veterans around the area adjust to civilian life, they bring them skydiving, scubadiving, they give them guitar lessons, and they just give them a community to come back to."
The group will be spending nights in Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Belgium, and Milwaukee.
