A Village of Slinger man was arrested in Richfield Sunday after he skipped out on paying $475 for a ride back from Lambeau Field, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the 24-year-old man hailed the cab driver when he got drunk and lost his friends after the Packers game Sunday. When they arrived at a Richfield truck stop, the man told the driver he needed to get cash from an ATM to pay the fare - $475.60.
Unfortunately for the cabbie, the intoxicated fan slipped out the back door of the truck stop and vanished. The sheriff's office was dispatched to find him, and after an hour of tracking him through the snow, located him at a bar in downtown Richfield.
"The man was arrested and given a complimentary ride to the jail," the Sheriff's Office said on Facebook . He was booked for theft.
