The Fond du Lac Police Department has released the name of the man who died after being found in the Fond du Lac River early Wednesday morning.
James C. Pugh, 57, of Fond du Lac was found in the river after police received a call of a drunk man in the river.
The preliminary cause of death is hypothermia, the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner's Office said. Toxicology reports are pending.
Police do not suspect foul play.
Pugh was found in the river with his head above water just before 3 a.m. on November 1. He was brought to St. Agnes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
