Officers responded to 2800 block of Commander Court for a weapons incident around 11:50p.m. Thursday. The Oshkosh Police Department 's investigation revealed three teens were allegedly going through vehicles on the north side of the city when one of the teens was shot. Investigators say it appears the teen's injuries were self-inflicted. The teen was taken to the hospital, but no condition is available.
Police are attempting to locate anyone from the area that may have had anything taken from their vehicle and possibly a boat in the area.
The Oshkosh Police Department is reassuring the community that they are not actively looking anyone and the public is not in any immediate danger.
