If two is company, and three's a crowd, this kindergarten class will have you do a double take. Four sets of twins started kindergarten together at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School in Appleton.
Nora and Vivian Erickson, Paige and Sophie Charles, Patrick and William Vanderbrink and Alex and Nicky Schnaubelt make up eight of the 540 students enrolled in elementary school at Xavier Catholic Schools.
"It's very exciting, I give their parents a lot of credit," Deacon Ray DuBois says the Districts elementary enrollment has risen more than 3 percent this school year.
There is a 5th set of twins at another Xavier Campus. All the kids will join together in middle school. DuBois says the school will focus on helping each twin develop their own learning style, just like all students enrolled in Xavier Schools.
