The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department says one person is dead after a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.
Deputies say the crash happened just before 1:00 p.m. on STH 96 east of STH 76.
Deputies say a Pontiac G6, driven by a 20-year-old man from Scandinavia, was eastbound on STH 96. A Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 62-year-old man from Appleton, was westbound on STH 96. According to a witness on scene, the Pontiac G6 crossed the center line and hit the motorcycle head on. The driver of the motorcycle was thrown and landed on the road. Deputies say he was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the car was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
