Manitowoc police officers were called to a home on the city's south side Wednesday night, for a domestic dispute.
A woman was requesting that a man be removed from her residence.
The woman admitted that both she and the man had been drinking.
Officers found the man had a stab would to his leg. Both accused the other of the stabbing.
The man was taken to a hospital, treated and released into police custody and held in the county jail on an unrelated warrant.
The woman was taken into custody of a felony charge of injury by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon and domestic violence and is being held at the county jail.
