MANITOWOC COUNTY — A woman who died after a crash has been identified as the mother of twin boys in a GoFundMe page.

The Manitowoc County Sheriff said Monday that 31-year-old Joanna Harrell was walking westbound on the south side of Highway 10 in the village of Reedsville early Sunday morning, when she was hit by a 2007 Chrysler 300 sedan heading eastbound. She was airlifted to a hospital where she later died from her injuries.

A GoFundMe page set up by her family says that Joanna leaves behind two twin 13-year-old boys. The page says Joanna did her best as a single mother. The GoFundMe site is raising money to help with funeral costs and provide a future fund for Joanna's two sons.

The Sheriff's Office says Joanna Harrell has lived locally in Hilbert; however, she most recently resided in Sioux City, Iowa.

The crash is under investigation.
