ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) -- Passengers are preparing for delays and possible cancellations at airports.
Austin Straubel connects with several larger airports in the Midwest, including Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit and Denver. Weather has impacted all of those airports.
Over the last 24 hours, O’Hare reported over 80 delays. Minneapolis reported only 78% of flights were leaving on time.
If you are leaving out of Green Bay and have a connecting flight, Green Bay Airport officials recommending checking the flight status.
"Get on the airlines app or website, and make sure you track their flight status, and check the incoming to see what it is doing as far as performance,” explained Airport Director Marty Piette.
"We will either get or not it’s an adventure no matter what," said Jaime Danen, a flyer traveling to California.
No flights out of Green Bay are currently reporting delays. The airport is expecting many passengers the next couple of days.
