Two dogs found abandoned, Grand Chute Police investigating

GRAND CHUTE — Grand Chute Police are trying to find to the owner of two dogs found abandoned in a field.

Police say the two pit bulls, a male and female, were found abandoned in the field east of Clairemont Drive with two bags of food. Police say the dogs are now safe and being cared for by the Fox Valley Humane Association.

Both dogs have black fur. Police say the male is medium size, black in color and somewhere between 1-4 years old. He has a white dot on his forehead, white on his chest, white on his paws and what looks like a scar under his right nostril.

The female, according to police, is also medium size and somewhere between 1-4 years old. She is all black with white on her chest along with white on her rear paws. Police believe the female had recently given birth.
