GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Three cats were lost in a Green Bay house fire late Tuesday morning, firefighters say.
Green Bay Metro Fire Department said units responded to a structure fire at a home on Hillside Lane. Smoke and flames were coming from the attached garage.
The fire department says the fire spread into the attic spaces and extended through the roof and attic. It took about an hour for crews to put out the flames.
Four people were displaced. The fire department says three cats died in the fire. The fire is believed to have caused about $250,000 in damage.
Fire officials did not release the cause of the fire.
