The first confirmed case of coronavirus in Shawano County was reported Friday night by the Shawano-Menominee Counties Health Department.
The individual is under isolation, according to a news release.
“We have been preparing for and anticipating confirmed cases in Shawano County. We are working closely with the Department of Health Services (DHS) to ensure we are taking all of the appropriate steps,” Vicki Dantoin, Shawano-Menominee Counties health officer, said in a statement.
No further information was released.
