SEATTLE (NBC 26) -- Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan has fulfilled her end of her wager with Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich over the winner of the Jan. 12 NFC divisional playoff game between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers.

The Packers won the game 28-23.

Durkan accepted Genrich's challenge in which both sides would engage in volunteer opportunities in their respective communities while wearing the winning team’s colors. Durkan had a creative idea about how to wear green and yellow as she volunteered Monday as part of the MLK Day of Service. She spent some of her day at Concord International Elementary school doing a revitalization service project as part of her wager with Genrich.

Genrich, along with City of Green Bay and Community Foundation employees, volunteered at Paul’s Pantry on Jan. 15.
