TOWN OF LEBANON, Wis. — A school bus driver and five children were treated and released following a crash Tuesday morning.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office, the school bus ran off the road while driving on a curve, at around 7:21 a.m. on Stage Road and Otto Road in the Town of Lebanon.

The bus went into the ditch, hitting trees and coming to rest on rocks.

An ambulance took the driver and five children to Theda Care Medical Center-New London. Everyone was treated and released. Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says all the injuries were minor.

The driver will not be cited. The Sheriff's Office says the driver went off the road only slightly, which led to the bus ending up running off the road. The bus was reportedly going between 20 and 25 miles an hour.
