Update:
MARSHFIELD (NBC26) -- Officers were called to the scene at UW-Stevens Point Marshfield Campus for reports of a person with a gun.
According to the Marshfield Police Department, two students reported a disoriented male with what appeared to be a handgun in his jacket pocket.
According to a release, officers from Marshfield, State Patrol and Wood County helped to evacuate and search the campus for the alleged suspect.
The suspect was later identified as a local man who was walking within the building. It was determined the man did not have a weapon on campus but it was reported the man had gloves sticking out of his jacket pocket.
The Marshfield Police Department says they commend the students for reporting suspicious behavior and encourage everyone to report if they have concerns over what appears to be abnormal.

MARSHFIELD (NBC 26) -- Officers are on scene at UW-Stevens Point- Marshfield Campus for reports of a person with a gun. Police say no shots have been fired and no one is hurt.
Police are still searching for the reported person with a gun. The scene is still active.
Police are advising people to stay away from the campus until further notice.
