OSHKOSH, Wis. — Police now say a man died following a crash between one vehicle and one front loader.

Both the vehicle and equipment were traveling Northbound on S. Washburn St. at the time of the collision, police say.

According to Oshkosh Police, the vehicle rear ended the front loader and the vehicle flipped over in the roadway.

"Life saving measures were taken," police stated in a news release.

A 60-year-old man from Oshkosh was taken to a local hospital where police say he was pronounced dead.

Police say the operator of the front loader was not injured. Weather and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this accident.

This crash is still being investigated. The road has since been reopened.
