MANITOWOC — Manitowoc Police say they have developed leads in identifying a middle-aged man found dead on the 200 block of Maritime Drive on June 13.
According to Manitowoc Police, a missing person report came in on June 18. Police say the description of the missing person matched that of the man found dead.
Police also say the keys found on the dead man opened the residence of the missing person. Police also found clothing at the residence that were the same size of the deceased's clothing.
Police believe the missing person is the man found dead, but investigators are waiting on DNA, fingerprint and/or dental record examinations to know for sure.
Manitowoc Police say the final autopsy results are not complete yet. They are waiting on the toxicology results. Manitowoc Police also say no signs of foul play have been found.
