MANITOWOC (NBC 26) -- A young Manitowoc man died after he was hit by a train Thursday, the Manitowoc Police Department said.
Manitowoc Police said they got a call around 4:37 a.m. Thursday from the Canadian National Railroad that a person had been hit by a train in the 3900 block of Woodlawn Ct.
Police said an 18-year-old Manitowoc man was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy has been scheduled; his name has not been released.
