CITY OF KEWAUNEE, Wis. — A man survives after he was struck by lightning in Kewaunee County.
According to the Kewaunee County Sheriff's department, the man was hit by lightning around 9 a.m. Thursday in the City of Kewaunee.
He was reportedly unconscious when rescue crews arrived and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 30-year-old man was handling an uncharged power line in the performance of his job and the lightning struck the power line in the area of 171 Beardsley Street in Kewaunee, according to a Kewaunee Police Department press release.
