The La Crosse Police Department is looking for help identifying a man wanted for randomly attacking another person arriving for work overnight.
Investigators say that the victim was entering Rudy's Drive-In about 4 a.m. Sunday when a man suddenly approached him, starting a friendly conversation before the unprovoked attack.
The suspect is described as a younger white male wearing a grey or light blue polo shirt with a stripe across the front. Police said that the suspect was wearing khaki shorts and white Nike shoes.
