GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- The Brown County Sheriff's Office is looking to identify a group of people accused of committing fraud and thefts in Brown County and other parts of Wisconsin.
The Sheriff's Office said the male suspects were involved in a retail theft at Walmart in Bellevue on August 20. The Sheriff's Office said the male suspects, along with two female suspects, fraudulently rented vehicles from Hertz at Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the male suspects traveled to Menomonie, Wisconsin where they committed a similar retail theft from Walmart. The Sheriff's Office said they also committed a gas drive off.
The Sheriff's Office said at least one of the male suspects was then involved in another retail theft/scam at a retail store in Blaine, Minnesota. During that incident, authorities said he fled from officers who confronted him.
The rental vehicles, which include a black Dodge Ram, gray Ford Fusion, silver Toyota Camry and silver Toyota Corolla, have been involved in the incidents.
At this time, the Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Rick Loppnow at 920-448-6188 or richard.loppnow@browncountywi.gov.
