Law enforcement to run final leg of Torch Run

Hundreds of local law enforcement officials will run the final leg of this year’s Torch Run for Special Olympics.

Officers will run and bike to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Wisconsin. 

More than 100 agencies across Wisconsin take part in the run. In Northeast Wisconsin, the route travels through Sheboygan, Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Elkhart Lake Oneida, Kiel, Shawano, Oneida, Seymour, Black Creek, Shiocton, New London and Waupaca.

Participants will ride or bike to the Special Olympics Wisconsin State Summer Games Opening Ceremony in Stevens Point.

They will kick off the Special Olympics State Summer games Thursday night.
