Schools out for summer for the Appleton Area School District.
For many kids it's a break from school and for others it can be wondering when and what they'll eat. Thanks to the Public Summer Food Program, it's no longer a concern for struggling families.
There are multiple locations for anyone under 18-years-old to take part in the free food program.
You can visit the following locations throughout the summer for breakfast from 8:00-8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30-12:15, Monday through Friday on certain days in June and July:
- Badger Elementary
- Columbus Elementary
- Edison Elementary
- Foster Elementary
- Highlands Elementary
- Jefferson Elementary
- Lincoln Elementary
Roosevelt Middle and Wilson Middle will serve breakfast from 8:00-8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The Boys and Girls Club - Fox Valley, Family First Ministry, Salvation Army and Loaves and Fishes will also offer meals throughout the summer.
