Fox Valley Metro Police visited the young boy who was shot by a BB.

In a Facebook post, officers say they had the "awesome privilege" of  stopping by the stand. Adding that the boy is very courageous to "stand up and not let random acts of violence stop him from enjoying his summer.

The man charged in connection with the shooting,19 year old Tetzlaff Evgeniy, is due in court for a Preliminary Hearing on August 5 at 11:15 AM.

The Fox Valley Metro Police Department says they responded to the Kimberly High School for a report of a theft from a vehicle the morning of July 25th. They got a description of a suspect vehicle and later that day responded to a second call at Sunset Park for someone discharging a pellet/BB gun with the same vehicle description.

Around 3:45pm police received a call for a report of a 9-year-old boy who was shot in the face with a BB while he was running a lemonade stand. The boy was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle matched the description from the earlier calls.

Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and identify the owner of the vehicle, Evgeniy A. Tetzlaff.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call the Fox Valley Metro Police Department at 920-788-7505.
