The Farmers' Market On Broadway has been canceled tonight due to the threat for severe weather.
Brian Johnson with On Broadway Inc. emailed NBC26 this message just before noon:
"After careful consideration for the safety of our patrons and vendors, and consultation with several local meteorologists, On Broadway, Inc. has decided to cancel this evening's farmers' market due to severe weather concerns including the risk of heavy downpours, lightning, high winds and the potential for tornado watches. The market will resume its normal schedule next week."
