MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Fans packed into the parking lots of Miller Park on Thursday to celebrate Opening Day.

For one family, Thursday was extra special because they get to celebrate not just Opening Day, but their son’s first Opening Day. Matt Gluszcz is a particularly proud father, being able to show his son, Logan, what Opening Day is all about.

“He was born on Opening Day 2011,” says Gluszcz. “So, being his first one this is an amazing experience for dad and his son.”

Matt says they’re a Brewers-backing family. Logan says Christian Yelich is his favorite.

Logan, was beaming with excitement to be at Miller Park for Opening Day, especially being a baseball player himself who has big dreams of playing for the Brewers one day.

Like many fans, Logan and his family have high expectations for the Brew Crew.

“Make it to the post season obviously. You know beating the Cubs is rather important, so we get the bragging rights throughout the year,” says Gluszcz.

No matter what happens, the Gluszczs are excited to share this special day with their son.

“It’s an awesome day. Awesome day very exciting we love Brewers and we love Opening Day.”
