According to company executives, the majority of Didion Milling workers will return to work Thursday following an explosion at the plant last week.

Four people died in the blast.  Representatives said four of the 15 people injured remain in the hospital.

Didion Milling operations president Riley Didion said almost all employees have returned to work after the explosion last week.  More than 200 people work at the corn mill.

He said it's good for people to be together during this time.

"The grieving process happens differently for everyone,” said Didion.  “I think it's really good for the soul to see there is going to be a brighter future."

He said no one has been able to return to the site of the explosion except for investigators.

"Until we can receive that site back and the governmental agencies walk through their process, we won't have anybody on site," Didion said.

Workers have been relocated to their ethanol facility next door or locations in Markesan or Johnson's Creek.

Riley Didion said the company has two to three counselors on site for workers.

He said Didion reached out to families after the incident and has consistently been in contact and even providing representatives at the hospital.

We're told OSHA opened an investigation in to the cause of the explosion.

The Pardeeville fire department and Carol’s Cone's ice cream parlor will be holding a fundraiser Saturday.  This “brat fry” will take place from ten to seven with firefighters serving food.  100-percent of the proceeds will go to the "Didion benefit fund" for the affected families.
