Crews are battling a fully-involved house fire in the Town of Mitchell, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.
At about 1:35 p.m. this afternoon the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call from a good Samaritan reporting a structure fire at N8746 Highway W.
Roads were blocked off Tuesday evening around the area as crews battled the flames.
Initials reports indicate the homeowners were not at home when the fire was reported.
Neighbors told NBC26 that they could not see the fire because of the thick fog in the area.
"I had no idea that it was going on," said Carolyn Richter, a neighbor. "It's just heartbreaking. If we could've seen it, maybe we could've called it in sooner."
Ten fire departments are assisting the Beechwood Fire Department in fighting the fire.
